Perle Labs was founded by veterans of Scale AI, the $30B data labeling giant that Alexandr Wang (Meta's current Chief AI Officer) built. Scale AI was one of the most influential AI platforms across the industry, building the future of data labeling. They received a $14.3B investment from Meta and a $100M contract with the US Department of Defense.

Some of the key team has gone on to start Perle. So far we've raised $17.5M from Framework Ventures, CoinFund, HashKey, and Peer VC to build the decentralized evolution of the Scale AI playbook.
