We’re excited to roll out the latest AI training tasks on Perle Labs. Starting today, contributors can participate in ImageQuest, a computer vision annotation project designed to help AI systems accurately identify and locate animals in images.
The tasks involve looking at an image and marking where the animal appears. Each verified contribution earns rewards while strengthening how visual-recognition models detect subjects, distinguish them from the background, and interpret context.
The project demonstrates another way the Perle Labs platform connects verified contributors with AI development needs, this time in the field of image recognition and object localization.
What Contributors Will Do
Training computer vision models that perform reliably outside the lab requires high-quality annotations. For each task, contributors will:
- View an image containing an animal
- Draw a bounding box around the animal to mark its location
- Submit the annotation for quality review
The interface is straightforward and designed to make accurate annotation simple. All annotations go through a quality assurance pipeline to ensure precision and consistency.

ImageQuest is part of a growing catalog of tasks available on the Perle Labs beta, including audio classification, robotics motion evaluation, and facial recognition data collection.

How to Participate
